    2014 Java? Just opened the same. There is still some coffee bitterness in mine. The bourbon is pretty mellow.

    I thought it to be more pils and less ale as well; quite good. It rounded out a great SA Winter Pack this year.

    Back with #2. An unique style, Wallonian Brown Ale. And unique tasting it is. Never heard of "stone fruit" but that seems like the right description.

    Before you say anything let me tell you that I was in fact aware that I was not meant to pour this in a glass but I just couldn't help myself. I'm also aware that many people firmly believe that nitro is overrated. I don't have a strong opinion but I must confess that the mouthfeel of this one was great.

    Stopped but the shop for a 2014 vs 2015 STA Unobtanium comparison. Both excellent but the 2014 with more dark fruits and character.

    Just tried a Take 16 Brewing Stormy Jack Irish Dry Stout, 4.8% ABV, 36 IBU. Small local brewery, thought I'd give it a try. Told it was a porter, but I see it is a dry stout. Not much flavor, dry finish. OKish.
