Sorry @ Brew_Betty, but I had company over and they just would not understand-allow beer drinking, however, they have. Left, so we started with a Oaked IRS, followed by a Oaked smoked magik and now it's a K brand 1 year old
Belgian Oaked bourbon dark ale. Happy new year ,,,,,,, finnaly

Had a couple of IPL's I made up in 2014 that have been hiding in the dark corners of the beer closet, it has kept exceptionally well, better now then before I think, only have one left. Also made it down to the last one of my experimental amber lager brewed with rose petals.

@ghostinthemachine , one does what one should for family, I got lots of time for beer the rest of the year. Why rub another's problem in their face???

Been brewing a nut brown ale today and drinking on one of my Oktoberfests. Heavy on Vienna malt and no Munich at all (not originally by design, but by oversight in ordering). Going down great btw, already on my fourth imperial pint. Contemplating making an ipa soon with this vienna heavy grist.

Tapped my very first kegged brew... Although it's not fully carbed yet (I would guesstimate around 60-70% though), I just couldn't wait to try it out... It is quite clear for only being in the keg for only 5 days or so, although hard to tell in the photo. I look forward to seeing how it tastes in another week when its fully carbed and continues to cold condition.

It is a cream ale with both 2 and 6-row pale, munich and 20L malts... Flaked maize of course. WLP080 cream ale yeast. Mt. Hood hops. Fermented in the low 60's. 5.5% ABV and 18 IBU.

Flavor is better than I expected and hoped for... Has that slightly sweet aroma which I love in cream ales... Low bitterness and very easy drinking. Proud of this one! Look forward to taking a growler to a share next weekend and getting feedback from friends.

Just put two kegs of IPA on. One dry hopped with Citra and one with Simcoe. Both are very nice drinkers!

I unfortunately ran out of my Daikon Saison before New Years. Demand exceeded supply! Thinking I will have to go big this coming year and make larger batches.

It does. And it's never really blue. Proving George Carlin right.

Putting my wife's Christmas gift to use - a flight glass set. Simple saison, centennial IPA, imperial pumpkin ale, and coffee RIS. From left to right.. but I didn't have to tell you that.

I had all four taps going over Christmas and New Year. I have Spiced Winter Ale, SMaSH Session Ale (Simcoe), Oatmeal Stout and Nut Brown Ale. All were well received by the visitors and multiple servings were enjoyed. I'm still not where I want to be for my taste but my friends sure do enjoy it. I have an IPA dry hopping and a Robust Porter fermenting. I love this hobby!

I finally replaced my CO2 tank and I think I found the source of my leak . . .

But now I have half a keg of a Surly Furious clone and a English Mild. From March 2015. We had a baby in May 2015. Cut me some slack!
