    Good morning BAs! The sun came out and is shining through the still falling snow - talk about mixed messages! When I was leaving the Y earlier today, one of my indoor track associates said I could go home and have coffee now. I said no, I was going to have a beer. The horror! You would have thought I said that I was going to the women's shelter to find a new woman. Guess I gave them something to talk about after I left. Anyway, breakfast beer:

    An OK dubbel but not great. Nice cork though, too bad it broke and I had to use a cork screw to get it out.

    Went outside to feed the birds on this cold windy morning and decided to continue with the beer fridge clean out. Here's an old one from 2012 that has held up well. Still some coffee hidden in there with smooth chocolate and surprisingly a fair amount of bourbon heat. Going to drink this by the fire in the cave and enjoy an extra day of holiday relaxation. Reality can wait just a little longer.

    Cheers to the first full week of 2016!

    I'm trying to think of things I hate more than Monday's right now and coming up short. Maybe going to the dentist. :grinning: Oh well. At least this beer was really good. Tastes like the aroma that comes wafting out of an ice-cream shop.

    One of the great things about self employment and working from home today is breakfast beer! Starting off right with a sour from Almanac, farmers reserve blueberry aged in wine barrels. This is a really good beer, very tart, the right amount a fruit and a touch of wine. Enjoy your Monday beers BAs

    Cannot get enough of this stuff! Best winter beer so far for me this year. Great body, flavor and a very dry finish. Refreshing, especially for a winter warmer!
