Mocha Wednesday for PS members...

They posted on IG that it would be included in the Q1 package for PS.

 

Just looked on IG and they sure are getting Mocha Wednesday. Now I really have to decide if I want to keep my Preservation package. I will wait till the other 2 beers are released

Text Oscar...he had it on Sunday before it kicked. It said he liked it a lot but didn't say how smokey it was.

 

Yeah. That's going to be a hard one to pass up. Then there's the guy on FB who had 3 PS memberships and an RS membership talking about how he's excited to get all the bottles of MW that will be coming to him, and that he hopes to be on track to become an HS member. If that's what it takes to get to the next level, I'm not sure I'll ever make it...

 

This sounds like a recipe for someone to be really pissed off and rant like crazy when they don't make it in because the requirements for an invite were never spelled out but they think they have it figured out.

 

Yeah I am not sure my fiancee, my wallet or myself are ready for that kind of commitment. Those are in order by level of clearance needed.

 

That's probably not going to get him there. He needs to buy extra bottles and three PS memberships is just silly. Chances are he can spend more and get stuff he actually wants. I'll laugh really hard if he doesn't get an invite. I'm kinda stoked about all my MW after drinking a 2014 on Sunday.

 

Yeah. No one knows the true requirements for Hoarders, but I HIGHLY doubt multiple PS memberships are among them.

 

Especially considering I don't even think the PS was a thing leading into year 1 of HS, though I could be mistaken.

 

Based on everything I've seen people post about how much they have spent, time spent at tasting room, emails to Patrick, ect.....I am betting its a random pull the name from the hat setup.

I know multiple people who got hoarders invites (myself included) over the years that did not have PS and only RS at the time.

I've also seen people who spend tons of time in the tasting room, are RS and if I remember correctly have PS as well and NOT get the invite. (looking at you @tokimedo)

Basically no one knows for sure. I'm sure part of it is throwing a dart at the wall and seeing who they hit.

 

Scotch BA Poterie....lets get this to the reserve members now...I mean I am guessing most hoarders could have ordered it in the last 3 days if they wanted it!

 

Events page says this Friday (Jan 8th): "RS Release: Poterie - Scotch Barrel Aged"
