Called Specs Smith St Houston today, a one "Brad" informed me it was a "one and done deal, it isn't going out to satellite stores" at which point I stopped listening to him. All 3 other Specs on NW Side I visited today told me they had their next jester king distro delivery thursday for my side of town and maybe it will come in then...

 

yeah. the guy i talked to, probably him, said the same thing. and HEBs arent getting it at all? whats up with that?

 

Grrr. I went in there today and they told me they didnt know when they'd be getting it. I really can't afford to keep driving down from Round Rock hoping someone figures out when their beer is coming in.

 

Bunker hill said they should be in this week.

 

That is a little far to go but may make time. somehow i think itll be on the day i cant go.

yea, there are still a bunch of boxers at 290/jones specs

 

i would say so, it even made it to my podunk specs, i guess 3500 bottles released a couple of months after however many was in the initial release goes a long way

Still about a case of all three at San Marcos Gabriels. While driving for Sixpoint saw a few cases of all three at the Live Oak Spec's. It was 5ish.

 

I just left Halls, and they still had a few bottles of Weasel Rodeo on the shelf. (1 bottle limit)

 

If Virtuoso is as flaky up there as they are in SA, then I can assure you that Spec's is not to blame for the lack of info.

Yes. Spec's De Zavala still had it on the shelf last I checked, along with a few HEBs.

Santo has to be one of the worst beers I've ever had. Absolutely awful.

Picked up all 3 JK bottles at Specs Arbor Walk tonight - thanks for the tip, Daniel. Limit of 1 bottle of each, and its in the back so you have to ask.

They also think they'll be getting XXIV at the end of the week - its finally showing up in Austin at Whip In and Hamricks, and should be more broadly available end of this week and into next week. About time.

Actually someone did ask for it in a trade and I picked it up for them..
You guys act like you have never gotten a few more bottles than you should have. I kept 2 for my self of each and the rest I gave to people. Some of you have even asked me to sell you a bottle and I have at cost so I don't know why all the bitching. It's not like I'm hoarding them and selling them for $30 or $40. I gladly sold em to people who asked me to for what I paid for. And the reason I bought a few is because I saw someone else doing the same thing so I said fuck it. I wont do this again though. Just buy my limited amount and go about my way.
