Is a ba version coming down the pipeline? I really enjoyed this one

I doubt it, simply because it's an anniversary beer. Furthermore, I would think that had they done a BA version, it would've been available at Funvitational in September (ie brewing a batch a year or so ago ahead of the big party). Anything is possible though with Bell's. They never cease to amaze me.

I also find it interesting that there's so much demand for this one, as it's still on a few shelves near me.

100% guarantee there is BA 30th coming. Likely just on draft, but unless it gets infected, it's coming.

It was growing on trees in Milwaukee. Picked up a 6 pack and passed on others probably a dozen times.

Saved my single for today. Bell's nailed it. This a great Impy - I rated it 4.38. Had the nose been stronger and a bit more head volume, it would have scored a world class 4.5 from me.

One of the best impy's I've ever had. Having one right now, and I'm flabbergasted.

That I would trade my bollocks for, if it came in a bottle.

Bells is such a fantastic brewery. Nothing gimmicky, but just incredibly solid, well crafted beers.

That's a bold statement. And I'm pretty sure it'd require Barrel Aged Bollocks....

That said, it's a damn fine beer!

This beer is so good, I can't wait to see what it does over time. I'm going to stick a case of it in the cellar.

I planned on doing the same, but I couldn't resist drinking some and trading some to those ISO, let me with 14 bottles in the cellar. One a month (plus bonus Christmas/NYE) for 2016? I'm going to have a hard time letting this one sit...

Man, I should've bought more of this. Got it at $18 a sixer, or $5.50 a bomber, and it was the best stout of the year.

If anyone wants more, I know a place that had cases left a couple weeks ago.

I don't suppose you know a place in Oregon that has any? Ha. Ha.

I'm already down to only 3 bottles from my half-case that I picked up from Mom in the mitten over Holiday. :flushed:

I am clearly in the minority here that found 30th to be overly roasty with huge ash/chalk notes. I am hoping it was just a bad bottle? I've got one more that I'll open at a later date but that first bottle I had a few weeks ago was a drain pour.

I agree with you, and have 5 more to figure out if I want to gift them, cellar them, or choke them down since I didn't bother to find singles.

Well, I live in Eugene. The only Michigan beer I'm able to get here is Jolly Pumpkin. I wish I could get Backwoods Bastard here.

Picked up a 6pack and had 3 last night, so smooth and awesome I went back and grabbed 2 more packs this morning.

I'll be honest, I'm impressed you could get up and drive in the morning after drinking 3 of those the night before.
