    I agree with your assessment of this being akin to a Dark Lord Light and....:grimacing: I end up liking this beer for that very fact. While I am not a Dark Lord fan, this one is just sweet enough to keep me on the edge without falling off AND...I'll be damned if this one doesn't taste like a chocolate fudge brownie soaked in bourbon (faint but it's there). I will review this one later but I have to say it's thumbs up for moi. :-)

    A French IPA as the rooster and name give away, I'm tasting it right now, not too shabby.

    Love that there are 2 beers on page one from my hometown of Akron - from Hoppin' Frog and Thirsty Dog!

    It has been a rough couple of weeks, time for an afternoon beer. I have to say, I was pretty pumped to find this at my local bottle shop, since it has historically never been distributed to Missouri. Pretty exciting and a great West Coast Style IPA. At the price point, I can't say I will be purchasing it all the time, but every now and then it is nice to have! Cheers!

    I just picked up this Brew Kettle "Journey Pack" today as well - supposed to be regular distro around here

    Very unusual (and labor intensive) 6 pack with 5 different beers @ $11.99 retail - wish they would have put White / Black Rajah in there!!

    It includes: 2 of El Lupulo Libre, 1 ea of 4 C's, Big Woody, Dark Helmet, Old 21

    With the Brew Kettle's expansion in Strongsville to a new 40,000 sf facility this year, we should be seeing more great things!
