My first visit to the east coast was for an interview at Harvard. Here's to hoping for good news. Cheers.

I think we started seeing less of him when Fallout4 came out.

enjoyed my day off at the gym and running some errands (which included hitting the liquor store for new beer).

now just threw a meatloaf in the oven and it's now beer and Destiny time.

one of my all-time favorites! can't wait for Nugget Nectar to get here.

Sipping down a 750ml of Curiosity 24. Bright hops and a nice mouthfeel. A light snow is falling and combined with this growler by my side...feeling pretty comfy.

Home from vacation. All unpacked and enjoying my first a quality IPA in over a week while watching this white crap come down. Still trying to figure out why I live up here...

Wasteland beer is terrible. There are actually three (defunct, obviously) breweries in the game, but some beer (Gwinnett Stout and Gwinnett Pale ) survived the devastation (not an unlikely scenario?)...

Fortunately, I don't actually live in the wasteland of post-nuclear Boston... yet.

    And this beer is terrific!

Flower Power seems to be the freshest fave IPA around lately. Tasting really good.

Watched Lemmy's memorial service streaming live on Saturday (that's his son at the podium)...
Probably among the coolest things I've ever watched. Got a lot of insight into Lemmy's life. Some of the more interesting speeches were from people in Lemmy's more personal world, but among the "names" that presented, Slash, Dave Grohl, Scott Ian, Lars Ulrich, and Rob Halford were noteworthy.

That Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti, bottled 04/01/15, was so impressive it went down without a pic!

Great games this past wildcard round - looking forward to this weekend's slate of games...

Checked out a new beer: Barrier's Suburb featuring Motueka hops...
    [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG]
Solid IPA action, fresh impressions of pine and citrus in balance; clean, simple malts, medium-light body...

Checking out Baroness' new album, Purple...

    Cheers...

You shamed me about going to the Y. I think I will get off my sorry butt and go. Then replace the carbs with some good VA beer! I like the glass by the way.

Today it's 10F feels like -8, so opted for another work at home day. Not sure what's going on with my taste buds, but despite having a house packed with delicious stouts, all I seem to want are IPAs. Kind of slim pickings around here, so this Grapefruit Sculpin will have to do.

Watching this week's Family Guy, just isn't what it used to be. It's supposed to be an episode about Stewie, but it's just not the Stewie of old. He needs his own show.
