    Morning, beer peeps and happy Thursday!

    Soooo glad I bought a couple of sixers of this fine English Barleywine on my last trip to NJ.....this beer should also be amazing with some age on it

    And served in a vintage Pabst thumbprint chalice.....yum!

    I even emailed Ballantine / Pabst about a cool looking Burton glass I saw on their website, but alas, not for sale at this point (it was apparently only a photo prop online)....ah well!

    This stuff is so good. Someone gave me a bottle of it on NYE and I finally got around to cracking it open last night and was pretty blown away!

    Morning BA's, I pulled out a celebration beer this morning, celebrating the unconventional. I got laid off. While in most cases this would be a fairly bad thing, I was expecting it for a while and it is temporary. probably 2 months or so while we replace a contract and summer rush starts. Meanwhile having known it was coming I did a fair amount of overtime and my employment insurance should be pretty close to my regular salary. So Cheers to the government paying for my beers the next couple months. Cheers!

I regret to inform you all that I did not win the Powerball lottery last night but I want you all to know that I still would be drinking this beer this morning had I won last night. Boulevards Tank 7. I'm a sucker for a good Farmhouse/Saison.
