For sure, just purchased beer, not homebrewed beer. For now . . .

Just an update for those who are curious about Comet. The dank faded from the aroma after 3 weeks in the keg. It was strong for the first week. Then, the dankness turned into grapefruit aroma. The aroma of Centennial and Pacifica remained constant. The overall aroma and flavor is still pretty strong.

2.5oz of Comet was used at 15 mins
1.5oz of Comet was dry hopped

I suspect a 4oz Comet dry hop could be too dank initially, but would tone down nicely and last more than a month.

Simcoe, Centennial, Citra, Amarillo -- it's all in this pale that I just tapped. 56% 2 row, 40% golden promise, and 4% caramalt. I fermented with WLP 090 for the first time, Pretty darn tasty, fresh out of the keg.

Drinking the Saison @Naugled made awhile back from 20 year old yeast. Lots of juicy fruits, slight candy sweetness, minerally, a touch of metal in the nose. Prickly on the tongue, great head retention and color. Holy Yeast Bomb Batman this is an amazing beer. Glad I kept some of that yeast

Drinking my Graf beer I made 2 weeks brew to glass. Around 6.5% with a strong tart bite to it with a slightly subtle sweetness to each sip. The tartness has recided much since kegging on Sunday.

Hickory smoked weizenbock is tasting pretty fresh off the keg at only 5 weeks old. Really happy with the balance of smoke, clove and malt on this one.

Drinking the last bit of the ginger bread beer. This stuff is absolutely amazing. Even after having to back sweeten it with the molasses. I'd say it worked well. [IMG]

Belgian Blond. Behind that is a sample glass of @DrewF's Tripel. Behind that is a paper plate that previously contained chips and a mexican ground beef salsa dip thing. I know why it's blurry, but can't explain the impressionist brush strokes.

Going malty with Oatmeal Stout -- first beer I have had turn out decently with WYeast 1968 -- and Irish Red Ale. Really enjoying everyone's excursions!

I agree, Comet was a surprise favorite for me this year. Dank and juicy, classic american character, only amplified. I'll definitely be using it again. Works great as a single hop

Sample of my Golden Strong that has been kegged with 4 lbs of rhubarb. It's coming along nicely.

Though it's not really a Golden Strong...but that's the closest BJCP comparison.

Evil twin femme fatale brett dregs are starting to get at it. Glad to see this - I was starting to doubt them after a week of complete inactivity.
