Open feedback changes and BIFs

    If there is another open thread on this, sorry, missed it. I was just reading this post from @Todd, and while I completely agree that open feedback needs addressed, I still think their is an unresolved issue. It is with the BIFs. I have an open feedback (as in I didn't leave any) because my recipient wanted to leave feedback, and told me not too (obviously since we didn't trade with each other). He specifically mentioned it in his feedback, but it doesn't seem like the best way.

    Also, would it be possible to at least quote update messages?

    1. Your thread was posted in the wrong forum and its title was vague; fixed.
    2. The feedback system wasn't built with It Forward (or your situation) in mind. Not sure it ever will be either.
    3. Update threads aren't for replying, but there's nothing stopping you from manually quoting a post or at least referring to it with a link.

    I'll add that I'm not opposed to exploring solutions for It Forward support down the road, but whatever the solution it needs to be very simple.
