    Good Friday morning! I'm off to Jacksonville later today for a bottle exchange and to drink a beer or two. In the meantime, it's raining hard so the dogs and I are inside waiting for a break:

    Bottled 11/11/14 and starting to mellow. Layers of dark fruit, sugary raisins, and plums with a caramel malt/sugar cookies middle, and still somewhat hot alcohol bite on the tip of my tongue. After I drink this down, the rain won't seem so daunting. Cheers!

    Good morning BAs! Beautiful day in sunny NW PA - no snow in sight, mostly because the hills block the view of the horizon. Today's Breakfast Beer is:

    I'm slightly disappointed in this since quads are one of my favorite styles of beer. This one is bottle-conditioned and the carbonation definitely overlaps the definition of "fizzy". Any subtle flavor nuances are lost (to me) in the carbonation.

    Flew all night into London and now polishing off an excellent Common Grounds Coffee Porter by Magic Rock brewing at the Cask Pub and Kitchen:
