Beat me to it! Dinner is well worth the $8 a bottle but not any of the other offerings imo. They do make great beers but not for that price.

Sadly it's a beer I really like in Ballast Point Sculpin...but it's either 14.99 or 15.99 a sixer down here in Florida and there's just no way I am buying that when much fresher Jai Alai is sitting right next to it for 8.99 or sometimes on sale at 7.99

While I agree Sculpin is over priced at 14.99 a six pack of single IPA, Victory at Sea is a steal at 14.99, 15.99, 16.99, 17.99 etc., for a very solid 10% Imperial Coffee Porter.

I think the hoppin frog stouts are worth trying once. I really liked Doris will pick up Boris when I get the chance. Does anyone know the barrel age price though never had those and they could definitely be overpriced.

You brought it up -- and your Pliny comment is absurd. Expect this thread to continue to focus on that.....

MBC's price format wouldn't be so terrible if their beers actually moved, but when it's affecting the ability to get their beers fresh and most of them aren't beers styles meant to age, it's really irritating.

Eh it's about in line with most imperial porters in the 12oz format at $15 a sixer. I wouldn't exactly call it a steal, but it is at least at a fair price for the style.

To be honest I didn't think victory at sea was anything special. I wouldn't buy it again unless it was on sale for under $10 a sixer, just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

    Good morning, everybody.

In my opinion, most craft beers today are overpriced, but with hype comes inflation, so I don't mind it too much.

My real problem isn't with the breweries, or beer companies, but with the customers themselves.

Look, I'm obsessed with Mornin' Delight. I've never had anything better, + believe the beer exceeds the hype, but to find out that people are selling that beer.....ONE BOTTLE, from $400-$800 a pop, is absolutely insane.

To each their own, + cheers to you if you can afford to do that, but that's my biggest gripe when it comes to $ + beer.....the fan base are the problem, not the brewers.

I miss the good old when I thought 3$ a sixer for Schlitz at my local bootlegger was high!

Torpedo and Hop Ottin clock in at around seven to eight around here depending where you go. Pretty much all of my favorite staple IPAs are way cheaper than Sculpin. Won't be long before everything is over ten bucks a six pack though.

He's not missing the point at all. He's expressing the opinion that he doesn't think any beer is overpriced so long as people are buying it. No mental masturbation involved just a simple statement of his opinion which is worth just as much as anyone else's opinion on this site.

I'll try almost anything once within reason, only one I have passed on is BA Rasputin which showed up here for $27 for 16.9oz... we got BCBS in the same size bottle for $10 and I can't believe the Rasputin is over 2.5x better of a beer

I thought Sculpin was a good IPA but nothing close to Treehouse or Other Half cans
