Took the works out of my mouth. They are usually one of the first mentioned in "bang for your buck" threads.

I refuse to buy packaged beer from the following breweries due to their high price points (for me):
    • Maine Brewing Co.
    • Ballast Point
    • Green Flash/Alpine
There are probably others I should add to the list but they were the first breweries which popped into my mind.

    Cheers!

IL drinker here. Surprised I haven't seen Surly on here yet. Don't recall 4 pk prices off the top of my head but every time I see their prices I get that just-sucked-on-a-lemon look on my face. And honestly the quality is not what I expected when it finally hit IL, high price or not. Maine is a bit much but quality is fantastic.

    Hoppin Frog +1...

For some reason they are getting my wrath because, at this time, I seriously sneer at anything only available in a bomber. I like 4packs, 6ers and growlers.

At the Brewery I think the BA Boris variants are usually $15.99 but Boris Van Wink I think was $17.99. Not sure how much they are off the shelf I have a BA Boris if you want I can send it to you that way it will be free

Most Rogue and Stone products, most bombers, and most imports sold as singles.

I think it's crazy how expensive 4-pack cans of Guinness Draught and Murphy's are. I guess people keep buying them though.

Peril IIPA by Lawson's Finest Liquids. What was a $10 bottle 3 years ago was $15-$17 this year, pass this time.

Any of the Even More Jesus variants, most Mikkeller, all of Lagunitas beers (espsecially Sucks) and many, many more but those are what come to mind first.

    Seriously?

Here, Lagunitas bombers are typically under $5; six packs $9-10; 12 packs ~$16.00. Yes, there are less expensive craft beers, but I wouldn't single them out as "overpriced".

I agree with all except Cigar City. I don't know how much you pay up in New York, but locally here in Florida I pay $9.99 for a six pack of fresh Jai Alai. I think that's a fair price for a world-class IPA with an abv slightly below DIPA range at 7.5%.

Cascade prices are high. Their bottles sit on the shelves at my local TW at $30-$35 for a 750 ml bottle.

6-packs of Sucks run about $12 around here & bombers are usually in the $10+.
