from Facebook....Say hello to our new projector! We will be using it to broadcast big sport games and funny cartoons at the @fermentaria... Including this weekend's NFL playoff games! Enjoy some beer and some #sports, buddy!

    First, hamburger, now this...

    What's next? Light lager?

Hopefully this downy become the focus of the place. For me part of the charm of tired hands was the lack of the tv...

I don't think it will. Will they show some games sure. Maybe some cool flick nights and stuff but no way it turns into a sports bar

    Sounds perfect to me #buffalowildwings

Could always go to the cafe as well if the TVs are an issue for you.

Why would that go over the giant chalkboard menu?

Was thinking the same thing.... I don't know how I feel about it, I guess it is only an occasional thing so not a big deal, but at the same time I don't know if it fits the space.

The fact that this thread exists is cracking m up, mostly because I totally agree. Why the fuck did they think putting a tv in front of the slate menu was a good idea? It does seem weird. Tired Hands gets a tv indeed!

Same idea as making the lights on the chalkboard so dim that you cant even read it.

OMG! Without the chalkboard, how would customers ever know what's on draft? It's not like they have printed menus that they hand out every time you sit down at the bar or something

Seriously, not sure what the big deal is. It's not like it's an invasive TV everywhere sports bar. People who love TH beers won't give a shit about the fact that they show games and cartoons on a projector. People who typically decide to go elsewhere because "the game is on" now will go to TH. It's not like people go there to mingle with strangers of different interests. It's a business no-brainer.

Here right now, I kind of like it. Actually a conversation starter. Need to move the beer list, but no big deal.

A TV is a conversation starter?! I can't imagine what comes after that! Please tell.

Just talk about football and it just opens up other conversations. Relax.

Omg! A tv at a brewery? Now how the hell will I be able to talk to my friends for several hours about how juicy that IPA is? Get over it. Craft beer and sports are not mutually exclusive. Stop being so snobby.

Here I thought you were talking about the actual TV, not what was on it. I'm in at 4 with Dr. Phil!

Its not that big of a deal, but its nice to still have some spaces that aren't dominated by tv. I like bars that don't have tvs. I don't see how its snobby.

Unless they start opening up at 7am for soccer on the weekends, this means nothing to me.

I think it's a nice addition. Not like they flooded the place with them and have every game playing. Just whatever the big sport of the day is. Good food, beer, and a little sports. I'm in.

Hey, it will give people something to look at when they aren't staring at their smartphones and entering their latest check in on Untapped.
