English berleywines in general are very, very, very sweet, and bourbon barrel aging adds extra sweetness. If you didn't like MoaS, you're probably not going to enjoy the concept in general. Mother of all Storms is perhaps the best example of the style, with the possible exception of a three year old Sucaba I had on tap, but it's not a style that's for everyone.

Dark Lord. Love the style. Was ready for a trip to Stout Heaven and disembarked in cloying and malty underattenuated mess Hell

Any toppling Goliath beer. For how in demand they are they come no where near the other greats. Just my opinion and taste preference though. And yes the ones I had were fresh.

I love trying new beers and even though I didn't like these beers, I'm glad I tried them.
    1. Dark Lord: glad I tried it but it was a big disappointment.
    2. Black Tuesday
    3. Barrel aged Yeti: not a whale but I love all their other stuff but this was too boozy

another vote for Zombie Dust - I went into it expecting something amazing, and all I got was an (admittedly decent) IPA.

As it is with everything we do on here, subjectivity will always have its hand in our ratings. The beers below are great beers, but in my humble opinion didn't meet my expectations. In other words, I thought I would rate them higher than I did and feel like I experienced something truly unique.

    Barrel Aged Abraxas
Bourbon Barrel Vanilla Bean Dark Lord
    Black Tuesday Reserve
    Sherry Barrel Atrial Rubicite
    Side Project Derivation Blend #4

Apple Brandy Mexican Cake is one of the worst beers I've had. I had trouble finishing a 4 oz. pour it was so sweet.

    Others:
    Black Tuesday
    Hunahpu's
    Haze
    CBS

It seems to me that sugar/sweetness=whalez bro.
