The event that hasn't occurred yet, I drink more beer than I buy. My wife who isn't a beer drinker is greatly anticipating that event also.

Industrial Arts Brewing just got delivery of their kegs. Won't be long now. Hey, Vermont guys, don't worry when you come for beer we will be a lot nicer to you than you have been to us.

 

Last year my son and I did a 1 day Vermont run using my parents in Lake Placid as home base. In 13.5 hours we each came home with 1 case of Heady Topper, 1 case of Sip of Sunshine, a large assortment from Hill Farmstead and some Fiddlehead. This year we are expanding it to a 2 day trip by using Burlington as home base and heading into Maine also. It was a total blast last year. The beer haul lasted me all summer using some serious self control. Can't wait for spring - don't want the beer to freeze in my truck.

 

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest. Will also pick up some Sunday Morning Stout if I see it; passed on it last year.

 

The Veil Brewing opening up in the RIC, Nugget Nectar cans, Hopslam cans and my annual Michigan beergrimage this summer.

I'm going to the EBF (second trip) and the Microbrew Invitational.

Have Chicago business trip in March that can be spread to mini beer excursion.

Another business trip to Minneapolis in April where I can hit Surly, Town Hall, etc.

My wife wants to do a bike trip of Belgium either this year or next so that shouldn't suck beer wise.

 

Hoping like hell we see some Black Note this year.

i mean, i get amped up anticipating a few releases as they approach or are under way but the next WBAYDN thread & the one after that, so on & so forth, are about as far as i'm crankin' my energy level up for in advance.

 

I'm going to Rome for Spring Break, and I'm most excited to try the beers I didn't make it to last time I was there. Planning on trying all the Xyauyus again, along with the other beers in Baladin's Riserva series. And I'm excited to grab some rare Belgian beers during my day-and-a-half layover in Amsterdam.

 

For me its a Belgium trip in April. Bruges, Brussels, The Ardennes. Visits to 3 Fonteinen, Cantillon, Rochefort, others.

Also, trading with others around the country so that i can keep trying new beer. I just started last year and its been a lot of fun.

And definitely all of the ETF releases and events related to Citizens of Funk!
