    Good chilly Tuesday morning, BA's

Need some java juice to get me going.....not a big Flying Dog fan typically, but this is pretty ok!

Saddened to learn of Glenn Fry (Eagles) passing Monday....losing too many musical icons lately!

    RIP Mr. Fry....keep rocking

If it wasn't for slow cooker soups and good stout, I'd never make it through winter.

    Relaxing presunrise music.

Not Frey vocals, still one of their best.

Happy back to normal day, BAs!

Morning BA's back to one of my regulars so if you're here often you've seen it before, Le Castor's Yakima IPA Cheers![IMG]
@LeperJim scrolled up and saw your post so decided to up the anti, I've been reading through the freedom writers diary. These are Journal entries from 7th grade students growing up in long beach california who belonged to the "below Average class". Most grew up in the ghetto saw crime and poverty around them and felt they couldnt grow. An absolutely fantastic read.

The second book I happened to have on hand. Its a copy of the book that got me into reading in high school, the outsiders. Cheers!

I will never forget (mid-late 60s) one of the younger and “hip" nuns in school reading The Outsiders to us a little each day. I recall the class being totally captivated for those 15 or 20 minutes. One of my best grade school memories, but other than that we all probably hated school. :grinning:

Yeah, school wasn't one of my favorite times, but Its true when they say it sets you up for life... Not in the sense that your gonnna use what you learn in most classes but the social lessons and certain moments teach you some major life lessons!
