Doing the math on $20/6 pack would equate to 6$/22oz bomber. Each breaks down to $0.27/oz

So honestly, people should be asking why most bombers are so expensive and not 6 packs.

Already selling out in metro Detroit with a one-six/customer- found a local pizzeria and picked up a flat. Selling for $25/6.

I contacted my local Binny's beer dude, he informed me that it is due in next week, and that it will be only one 6-pack per customer. I have three different disguises lined up to try and get more....

Nope, I've been told Monday, January 25th, I'm not sure about the others, but in central Macomb County that's probably a safe date for the others.

Bear in mind that some of the smaller stores besides Binny's will have plenty to go around...

Which Binny's was that? It won't impact me either way, just curious. I'm in the city and go to either Lakeview or Lincoln Park Binny's (and sometimes Grand), and had no problem last year. I could've bought as much as I wanted - they had no limit at one of them. Just wondering if it's one of the city locations you're referring to.

Whole Foods is a great spot in the city, too - I got a couple 6 packs there no problem.

Just so you know, we made over 10,000 barrels of Hopslam this year-significantly more than we made last year. It will ship to all of the states we currently do business.

Great news. When do you expect the last day of canning to take place?

IMO they let this one get away. It was a terrific beer, then they did whatever they did to it. It's a shame it used to be a mind blowing beer. Now it's not.... But there is this year to recapture that.

Nope...........7 minutes. Said they were releasing it at 4 PM - I got the Facebook post they were out at 4:07. I suspect they probably had a nice line there and started passing them out before 4 PM though. This is why I like 8 Degrees much better - they said - don't call us and don't show up - we'll let you know.

Cannot tell you the last day of canning- I am traveling. We are striving to get this into the market as soon after canning as possible, so distributor pick up days will influence that.

And this right here is one of the biggest reasons WHY I have so much respect for Bell's. For a brewery the size of Bell's to come on here and actually interact/communicate with their fan base (yep...this wording is very intentional), I applaud you guys.

While I am admittedly guilty of throwing some hate towards breweries (specifically Kuhnhenn and their mixed 4 packs for $36 - my issue with this is 1) forcing consumer to buy beers they may not have a desire for and 2) price format which seems a little excessive for said beers), I just don't understand the hate towards Bell's.

Just to be clear, you guys/gals do realize you're bitching about a world class IIPA for $16 (up to $20 @ retail) for 72 ounces of awesomeness right? Currently, Hopslam sits at #69 on the top beer list....

By the way @LarryBell , the Stupid Quadrupid being available in growlers makes me so damn happy. One of the best IPAs I've ever had (and also most dangerous as the 15% is not noticeable at all). Please put this one into distribution so others can enjoy this one too .

Everything I've heard indicated we are still 2 weeks away in Chicago. LP binnys is doing a HP release event on 2/3. I hope there is truth to a release next week though because I won't be in town during the 1st week of Feb

Stupid Quadrupid would make a killing in the SE market. I don't care if it's even offered in 22oz bombers.

But seriously BA's... After reading these threads my anticipation grows weary... I'm praying that Bell's truck makes it to S Florida before SB, otherwise I'm screwed & will have to settle for http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/139515/ as my make-believe Hopslam.
