Morning! Up and at 'em. I woke up this morning sore and feeling pretty good about it too. Let's boogie.

I envision the Great Blue Heron as my totem for my practice which I intend to keep going this time with no injuries. Cheers!

Whether poised at a river bend or cruising the coastline with slow, deep wingbeats, the Great Blue Heron is a majestic sight. This stately heron with its subtle blue-gray plumage often stands motionless as it scans for prey or wades belly deep with long, deliberate steps. They may move slowly, but Great Blue Herons can strike like lightning to grab a fish or snap up a gopher. In flight, look for this widespread heron’s tucked-in neck and long legs trailing out behind.

    Very cool, Maria!

Have always felt the Great Blue Heron was my totem bird for life in general - I see them all the time, since I am around the water so much....such majestic beautiful creatures! Practice on! Crouching tiger, hidden heron! Some shots I got of one at a park near me......

A terrific BA stout with coffee and vanilla from Siren, one of the most impressive of the newer English breweries I've sampled - pretty much everything I've had has been terrific - you may recall they collaborated with Hill Farmstead on the Limoncello IPA:

Had my first experience with Black Gold last night. CW vs. Potosi event at Draft & Vessel. No pics turned out well, so here's just a stock photo. You always worry about trying a well-hyped beer for the first time, but this one lived up to it. Honestly, I was surprised that the beer wasn't overly boozy after 35 months of barrel aging, and enjoyed every sip from front to back.

Happy Thursday BA's! The boy is going back to school today with his cough now that the fever has subsided so I'm up this early. Came home after work to watch my 'soaps'... new Agent Carter and Arrow episodes. Had this just a few hours ago and chased it with a Citradelic Tangerine IPA I was too lazy to snap a pic of
