Distribution envy

I'm thinking OP means breweries which distribute i.e., distribution envy. Some of those listed above do not distribute.

 

I feel pretty lucky in NY, with Cigar City, Westbrook, Crooked Stave and many other's. Only a few hours to Tree House, NEBCO and Trillium. It'd be cool if they all distro'd here though. I guess my votes would be for Toppling Goliath, 3 Floyd's and more Jester King.

Notch Brewing. Otherwise, I'm good. Philadelphia area distribution is so stacked with big names that I can't even keep up with them all as it is, but it sounds like Notch is doing something unique. Not just that all their beers are session strength, which I support, but also they are making some classic styles many brewers ignore. I think Notch would get a warm welcome in Pennsylvania.

Honestly, none. I couldn't be happier with the scene in the NW right now.

Amazing how in the course of just 1-2 years, California has mostly fallen off the map for "hot" breweries. Still plenty of awesome beer out there, but when I look at the trade forums, little ISO is for beers out of Cali.

 

Lacking in Missouri: Sixpoint, Toppling Goliath, Lost Abbey.

 

We're pretty spoiled here in California, but I wish 3 Floyds made it out here.

 

Unlike snobby New Englanders, Californians generally distribute their amazing beers to other states (e.g. Ballast Point, Stone, Firestone Walker).
