Hoping to get up to this next weekend. Never been to one of there releases before. Any idea what to expect? Does anyone have information on bottle counts? Any suggestions of what time to get there?

    Thanks.

I don't have any insider knowledge, so I can only reference the previous "Wild Beer Roundup" and what they've posted on social media. They've handled this event a bit differently in the past vs. regular releases.

    Doors 9AM
    On-Sale 10AM

Previously they've handed out tickets as people entered and had tastings and "parlor games" set up on the production floor and in the barrel room. Once on-sale time comes they'd call people into the retail space to buy their allotment in groups of 10 or 20, can't remember.

No clue on bottle count but the last two bigger releases, Pick your Own and Ghoulschip, lasted all day long and they had some leftover to sell through on Monday [Closed Sunday.] Getting there at or around on-sale time you may be able to get most if not all your allotment of everything, if all you're after is Emotional Honey I'd expect you could show up whenever. Obviously, no guarantees, it could be a complete shit-show considering the next batch of BBB Swish releases at noon across the road there may be far more people in town.

Bumping this thread up for 2016s Wild Beer Roundup. Just wondering what to expect and limits on certain beers? There website isn't very helpful

According to Twitter responses it's two of each beer per person limit. I am curious to know if they will keep selling until they run out or cut off at 11:30 since I have to work and probably can't make it quite that early. Coolship Red is one of the only Allagash Sours I have never had.

Just wanted to bump this up to say that this event was great! Very organized, coffee and donuts, live music, games, free beer on tap (including Resurgam!), and a very friendly staff. I know Allagash doesn't get too much hype around here because they don't drop super juicy hop bombs, bro. But their Coolship and wild beers are some of the best in the country. Nice job, Allagash!

I agree, their Wild beers are second to none. Resurgam is up there with some of the best Wild Ales in the country.

For me, Allagash sets the standard for pleasant, humane, and well-organized releases. Always an enjoyable time!

I will echo what is being said - great experience - coffee, donuts, games, awesome music and great beer - definitely was worth the trip.
