I am currently in jeffersonville vermont and I wanted some advice on getting lawsons finest and the alchemist beer at the closest location to me that won't sell out right away. This is my first time in vermont for a beer trip and I wanted to secure some heady topper, sip of sunshine, focal banger, super session 2 or any other amazing beers in the area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also if there are any other amazing beers or breweries I should know about in the area that would be great. I have a car and am willing to drive an hour or more.

Hill Farmstead is an hour away and definitely worth going to.

Is the headyspotter site accurate? Because it says greentop market has it but they are permanently closed. I know I can check out both breweries websites for delivery Info but I wanted some info/insight from people in the area who can help me guarantee some. Hill Farmstead is definitely on my list of places to visit

I would try Healthy Living in South Burlington today at 3:30 pm if you want Heady Topper. You can get a case and it hasn't been selling out immediately over the last few weeks. They also may have some Super Session #2 on the shelves.

How long will you be in the area? Hunger Mountain Coop on Thursday will be a good option. Many options around there to buy as well (Waterbury, Stowe, Montpelier, Barre).

In Burlington. Area super session has been sitting a little bit and you should be able to find some no problem. Last Thursday afternoon Healthy living has a stack of heady and super session I'm assuming left from Wednesday 5 o'clock drop. Not to mention lots of other great stuff:

Focal is not sold retail FYI. You can have it at a bar or restaurant but is not available for carry-out sales. You can find Heady and Lawson's probably most easily by taking Rte. 100 into Waterbury or Stowe. The websites for each brewery list the delivery days to each store.

I didn't want to create a new thread for my question because it's vaguely related...

It looks like I'm going to be driving from Montreal to Boston in June. There are a few routes I can take to get there, and I'll probably spend one night in Vermont along the drive.

Tips on what town to stay in (that doesn't take me way off route) for a combination of a beer/brewery/tasting room stop in that night, and there also being something else to do in town?

You may get answers if you let us know what the "usual ones" are for you.

Was just in Waterbury a few weeks ago. When I'm there I like to do Blackback (favorite beer spot), The Reservoir (for food/beer behind BB for me), Pro Pig (restaurant in front, brewery in back). You should also check out Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury for beers to take back with you, if feasible. They usually have a very good selection. All of these spots are extremely close to each other and you can make a great day out of it without worrying about driving.

We also checked out Doc Ponds in Stowe for dinner/drinks one night. It is a short drive away (about 20 mins) and we thought it was very solid.

This just opened in White River Junction this week:

I'm optimistic based on the 3 tastings I had. From there you are real close to the Worthy Kitchen in Woodstock, VT. Great tap list and food.
