Hands down my favorite beer event to go to each year. Definitely going to be in attendance for at least one of these

Nice, looking forward to the Oyster event. The oysters and gueuze thing last year was fantastic.

Appreciate the heads up on this. I have to schedule a week of work down in Medford that month, and now I know what week I will definitely NOT be going down there.

The Saturday event is one I've wanted to attend as well for some time.

Don't let a lack of a VIP ticket stop you from going to Brews for New Avenues. General Admission is still a terrific event.

I'm going no matter what, but I really really really want to bid on Lambic D'Aunis or Lambic Vin Jaune.

If I can't get VIP, I guess I'll visit De Garde first before going back to PDX.

The live auction has always been during the GA Session.

I thought you can't bid for the biggest stuff at GA.

The really big lots have always been during the GA live auction so that there's as many potential bidders as possible.

I thought the GA had a few silent auction items. I'm pretty sure they did in 2014. That's how I ended up with a selection of a half-dozen Commons bottles which I still haven't finished...

Can I bid for the Vin Jaune and D'Aunis as GA attendee? Will those only be poured at OG? :slight_frown:

Either way, can't wait! But fingers crossed!

Attending for the first time this year and I have a question. Is it cash only? Or cash recommended? Thinking specifically about food, Wall of Beer, and the de Garde bottles.

    Thanks!

One more question, more logistical. Should I bring a box or something to carry around with me? Or is there some kind of place bottles are held until one leaves?

On behalf of digita7693, lopo87, and teddyarrowhead, a huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported our event. We could not do this without you!

We are still running the final numbers but it is safe to say we raised over $150,000 at the event. This is a huge increase over last year and is actually more than we raised at the first four years' events combined.

If you have any comments or questions about the event, please don't hesitate to contact us.

For those interested, the highest selling lot was a bottle of Cantillon Symbiose which went for $3,400 during the live auction.

When do ticket sales for next year's event go on sale roughly? Approximately which month or quarter?
