At one point it got deleted, it got weird. But yeah, I don't think it went as far as any personal attacks, which is why it still exists in most of it's glory.

 

yeah, at one point it was flat out nuked, a new thread came about with the statement that it should be discussion about the brewery and their beer... that at that point didn't exist on either front. Then that was deleted/merged into the old one and then flat out locked.

Talk about comical.

 

So the plastic cups thing is true.

Isn't his PR person the guy that was loaded and talking to those standing in line at the grand opening? =P

 

IT brewer was director of operations at maui, not a brewer. before that he worked at a brewery that only brewed one beer.

people wonder why the beer sucks....but think about it...the guy has only brewed one beer in his life.

 

The guy strikes me as 50% attention *****, 20% hustler, 20% douchebag, 10% pothead and 0% beer geek.

Not a good combination for this particular business venture.

 

Showing up all his "haters"

 

Typically when you're so hell bent to "show the haters" it just comes off as sounding like you really don't have any thing else to do but self identify as an underdog because of said haters.

Most people with any sort of substance don't bother even addressing "haters" and just do their thing and do it well. I guess he has no other identity than to be that underdog that people hate and be oblivious to the actual reasons why his brand isn't very good.

Fix your beers. Learn how to crawl before you can run, playa. You may have a means of distribution, but if your product sucks, it doesn't matter if you're on every bar tap handle in the city, all it will do will announce how shitty your beer is. Especially if your target is to just make beer to, as his posse stated, won't need much to get you fucked up.

It's as if he just misses the whole point of what people are drinking craft beer for.

 

Who says we shouldn't be using Yelp to help inform our beer decisions? Mui K.'s review for Iron Triangle beer is on another level!

"IPA nice, I found it a little more mild than usual but good
Pale Ale a little bit bitter, not quite like a sour/bitter beer but it had a bite.
Tangerine Beer (not sure the same) they ran out of this but I tried a bit of someone else's. It had a really nice tangerine taste to it."

Beer-person or not, if an establishment did not have working bathrooms for 'regular folk' at their opening weekend, I would think those non-beer-people would take to Yelp to communicate their disgust.
