For me personally? Honestly, I feel debate is healthy; when you lose, you should learn something. And I'm not opposed to learning new things. Why I dipped my toes in in the first place.

And when that particular debate devolved into nonsense, non sequiturs and name-calling, I think calling bullshit on a group that may be too like-minded to consider evolving their own definitions (of good beer, of weird, of merit, etc.) involves emotion--perhaps leading to its length (and eventual degradation). Guess I was also partly motivated to offer a contradictory opinion to the preemptive undermining of a really good group of guys who make really good beer.

Juju is still on fat head's taplist...can anyone confirm if that's accurate and it's still available for growler fills?

Drank a Neshaminy Creek Croydons cream ale last night, simple tasty ass beer. The fridge will be stocked this summer. I may even hide a cooler full under my desk at work. Perfect day drinking PNC park tailgating beer, to me.

New iteration of Hyer-PA at Roundabout. Mosaic, Citra, Wakatu, and Galaxy (I think). And a Chocolate Long Black Stout on nitro.

Is the Hy-Azacca good? I've only had one beer (that I'm aware of) with Azacca, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Hy-Azacca kicked already. Just an experiment he was doing. Yeah it was nice. Really drinkable. And I agree, Azacca is a dumb hop. I didn't really care for the single hop Azacca he did. It just doesn't seem to have the pop needed to be up their with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, etc.

I don't know how it will effect Azacca beers in the future, but a local Brewer here set up to get Azacca with the main farm in Australia and the farm decided to terminate their contract because Founders bought the entire harvest. Take it as you will, but that hop might be harder to get for smaller breweries.

I had that Founders Azacca after hearing good things and hated it. I say the less Azacca in circulation, the better.
