So does that mean Founder's Azacca beer is going to become a regular in their lineup? That was actually the beer I was referring to...I really liked it.

 

Hop future are weird man. I think everyone wants the newest Citra so farmers are breeding all these new ones. Then you have to sign a contract to get X amount and if it doesn't pan out to be very good, you're stuck with a ton of meh hops on your hands.

 

I love it. Don't drink one often enough.

 

I totally agree. There are so many new hops popping up...I can't keep track any more.

 

Yeah I think I remember at one of the CBS tappings the rep telling me Mosaic Promise and Azacca are being added to the year round lineup. But then again we both had like 4 glasses so none of that may have actually happened.

 

Have one sitting in my fridge, awaiting consumption.

 

I don't know if it was for the current release or future. I won't speculate even though that's what this board does best.

 

I recently had that and the Tropical IPA from SN...which I thought was downright awful. And I love SN...

meh....Lots of better hops out there. I'm okay with this not being available. Hopefully they can take all the lemon drop hops too.

 

Yeah, I don't care much for lemondrop at all. I tried a single hop from Sly Fox (I think) with a new experiemental hop called enigma. They can take that one too. It tasted like skunk piss. It was extremely weird.

I wasn't crazy about the SN tropical either. The bottle I had seemed over carbonated.

I was a big fan of Founders Azacca though. I picked up a bottle as soon as I saw it bc I haven't really seen it around these parts...maybe I just don't go to the right places

 

Tropical was is not on my favorite list have 5 left and will give them to my friend

 

Enigma is great. I have some bottles left of my DIPA that I used mostly Enigma with. You can have a bottle if you want.

 

Questions about Insurrection:

Are they definitely open again? Will they fill half growlers from other breweries? Is their website's taplist accurate (looking at Suppression #3 as a strong likelihood - anyone try?)?

 

FB says normal hours effective yesterday. The taplist on the website is supposed to be up to date.

At homestead, definitely have tekus, definitely don't have 22 oz barrel room glasses (I thought these were made in super limited supply for that first barrel room release, and not since, but could definitely be wrong). We have the smaller barrel room glasses, but I don't believe they're available for sale. I'd have to check to make sure on that though.
