I'll be in the Anaheim/Long Beach area in a couple weeks for a hockey tournament and looking for some not-miss spots. Already planning on the Bruery, Noble, Bottle Logic, and Beachwood. Anything else to not miss? Any great beer bars in the general vicinity? Staying pretty close to Disney, playing hockey basically at the Long Beach airport, if that helps....
@blackcloud While you're doing Bottle Logic and The Bruery, there is a free shuttle that hits Valiant and Phantom that are both great. Phantom is more like a homebrew mart/ nano brewery. Good Beer in Santa Ana is right in Downtown with awesome bars and foodie places (Playground, Native Son). And Huntington Beach is blowing up too (Riip, 4 Sons, Beach City). Have fun! Cheers!
Someone actually said Phantom Ales is great? Whoa...I've never had anything better than "ok" there. Valiant is hit or miss. They do have some solid brews but I've also have some pretty bad stuff there before too. I will vouch for Good Beer Company and Native Son's in Santa Ana. Great stuff indeed. You can go to provisions in down town orange for a good beer list, although a bit expensive.
How did I forget about this! Great food and great beer, plus it's a bottle shop too. I actually down the street from Noble/Hollingshead. You can't go wrong with either.
Guess i didn't mean great. Refering more to Valiant, which I do believe some of their stuff at the brewery are great. Cheers!
@JoshBeerNow , @JohnCassillo . Hope you guys know about this monday regarding a previously stated place. Double Cheers!
Never been to Timeless Pints, but one last suggestion for you. Smog City in Torrance (On your way to NAJA"S PLACE!)
If you're playing at the Lakewood Rinks...then yes. It's extremely close. Not worth it IMO...but that's just me. All their beer gives me a bad headache. Very odd. Still a brewery and probably walking distance.
