Manor Hill Citra Splendor DIPA 8.3%

This tastes of Grapefruit Juice with a Raw Hop Profile. A touch of Mineral finish with an aftertaste of Tropical Fruits and Hop Resins. Seems Maryland Brewers are tapping into that Northeast Style DIPAs. Not a bad DIPA at all.

Had a great time in Berkeley/SF last night. Our first stop was Rare Barrel which was a blast, completely exceeding my expectations. I've only had Cosmic Dust which was okay and I've heard/seen many people comments that their sours were mediocre, but pretty much everything I tried ranged from really solid to great.

My only gripe is that they don't do samplers or small pours and food is really limited. The grilled cheese was very good but another option or two would be cool.

    Part 2

After Rare Barrel we made our way over to Cellarmaker in SF. Wow, I had high expectations for this place and they were greatly exceeded. The beers were incredible, the service was excellent, they had the best playlist of any bar/brewery/brewpub I've been to(except for maybe Tired Hands) and the overall vibe was just awesome! If I lived anywhere even remotely close I would drink here all of the time. Unfortunately, Quad Dobis and Citrasaic had kicked before we got there but we were able to try almost everything else.

I'm very impressed that one place had so many different styles dialed in and I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the future.

We stopped at City Beer Store for a quick minute but it was crowded and we needed to eat so we headed over to Drakes Dealership for dinner before going back to the hotel. I was pretty buzzed by this point and didn't take many pics. Grabbed a sampler of Jolly Rodger and Rye Robusto to go along with our burger and pizza. Food was very good l, beers were just oak. I had so much fun but am definitely feeling it today.

I have some Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Tropical IPA and Kona Longboard in my fridge at the moment. I just finished off a sixer of 90 Shilling by Odell

Can anyone else from New England explain to me why it can never be sunny and warm both at the same time?

What better way to give to nod to the haze than with an out of focus (hazy) pic of BB substance. Cheers!

A stressful couple of days. Normal life type stress. Time for an early beer. Found this one hanging out in the basement.

It's growler only, I usually don't prefer to ship Growlers. It does remind me of Bissell Brothers Reciprocal but not as fine tuned. This Brew isn't pretty, but it's RAW! To illustrate this brew is like that one Ugly Horse that the top headliners don't want to Sponsor because of its appearance. Yet on the Race Track, this one does its job but not in a clean Fashion.

The picture's a little dark only because of the sunshine coming through the door. Such a tasty citrus hop bomb. Had to pick up another six pack!

Was just listening to Vol. 4 today @Shroud0fdoom !

Post 5 mile run. 55 degrees out right now, so I was able to throw on shorts and a t-shirt instead of the usual winter spandex. I'll take it on February 1st.

So the first time I've ever had ANYTHING by Tired Hands was roughly 3 weeks ago. I seriously can't get over how good their beers are! Plus, now that they've started canning, I can enjoy their beers over even longer periods of time! Except I won't...because these will all be gone by the end of the week...oh well. Cheers BA's!
