Anyone know if this will make it's way to Dallas?

 

From what I understand it will.

 

Anticipation is killing me...

 

Well I wouldn't hold your breath or anything. They're not known for their speed.

 

New batches in cans tasted a bit vegetal to me.


Soft opening was last weekend. The new brewery is going to make an awesome cell phone lot for the airport.

 

Cans are on their way to Houston today.

They are at Spec 's downtown now.

Any news on Dallas getting cans?

 

So, I had one Hefe can that was spot on perfect. The next is a butter bomb, anybody else getting that? Diacetyl maybe? Will certainly be drinking the rest to find out more...

 

Actually I had their pilz at GABF last year and it was a diacetyl bomb. I've never had that happen when them before so it threw me off

 

Kroger at Shepherd @ 11th had plenty of live oak hefe cans for the houston crowd.

 

Very strange, I've never had this happen from the multitude places I've tried them in Austin. Not saying you're wrong, you have definitely shown you have a good palate here. Hope it was an anomaly.

 

I have had diacetyl from their Scwarzbier before. I think my taste buds were a little screwy last night when I had it though. Was eating a Pinks Pizza at the same time. Before and after that, it was fine. Really want to find some Pilz cans, but I don't think that has made it to Houston yet?

 

Hasn't even made it to Austin yet, outside of Jester King

 

It was really weird and totally unexpected. Never had that problem before and haven't had it after

 

Coming back to Dallas for work on Monday. Anyone willing to get some Live Oak hefe send me a message. I can bring down some Chicago hops or beers from the area.

 

Oh man, I'm in trouble with the Hefe being in cans now!!! I'm gonna live off that nectar during the summer!! So delicious!
