Barrel-Aged Fridays

We do this almost every friday at work, it's a great tradition!

 

for me it's called, a day. I'm spoiled.

 

I suspect a few BA beers tomorrow at EBF

 

Genius! Now between New Beer Sunday and Barrel Aged Friday, I will begin observing Recovery Saturday as well.

 

Since discovering that some of my BA beers in the cellar are possibly beginning to get past their prime I've been drinking one every week to keep any more of them getting too old. I usually drink something from the cellar with Sunday dinner, my nicest home-cooked meal each week.

 

So long as it means I can't have a barrel aged beer on other days then I am in!

 

So wait a minute, I'm supposed to blow off work tomorrow and drink a bottle of Stickey Monkey? Done!

 

Sure, why not? What's the worst that can happen? I'm in an enabling mood.

 

I can get behind this. Especially since I stumbled upon some Tweak today and was planning on indulging anyway.

I usually do most of my beer drinking on weekends and I drink enough barrel aged beer that there will probably be more overlap with my drinking than on Sundays, so I'm down.

 

Stop it. I just talked myself out of buying a bunch of Big Bad Baptist because I'm trying to save money. It would be really terrible if I were to be talked back into it.

 

If you don't go back and pick them up you know you are going to regret it.
Plus you can always cut back somewhere else
You can start saving money next week

 

I drink BA beers on Monday and Tuesday mornings, preferably before work.

 

No tradition here, but it sounds like a great idea.
I did enjoy Free Will Black Friday this Friday - aged in brandy barrels and delicious!
