Had Clinic, IPA, 2x4, and Shaolin yesterday and I found the Clinic to be my absolute favorite, this also seemed to be the general consensus at the taproom I was at (Brewer's Republic). It was just incredibly full-flavored, hop forward and insanely crushable, never would guess it was only slightly above 4% ABV. The regular IPA was very drinkable, def on par with Odell IPA for me as a go-to. 2x4 and Shaolin were both good for 9oz pours, but wouldn't have wanted more. I actually found Shaolin to be more fruit-forward and smoother on the finish where 2x4 honestly was a bit boozy for me. All were great though and I am excited for Clinic cans to make their way in!

I concur, the Clinic was very good. My favorite of the group.
Anybody know the price-point on the packages?

It would appear that I still can't post pictures correctly on here. My apologies everyone! Loved Clinic (one of the better sessions I've had) and Melvin IPA. 2x4 is definitely cream of the crop but we all knew that already, right?

I'm pleased to report that Tap n Handle was decided not packed. After reading Jake's comment earlier, I got a little nervous. They tapped the Melvin's at 6, and we didn't get there until about 7:30, had our choice of seats at the bar, and beers in front of us in literally seconds :sunglasses:

I tried everything and think I liked Hubert and Dready the most. Went for 2x4 right out of the gate and finished it very quickly; insanely drinkable for the ABV. Everything else was bomb. Welcome to CO, Melvin.

so is anybody else getting this batch of kegs in Denver metro say a couple days later? (I'm assuming Hops & Pies and FR sold out, maybe this his incorrect?)

Were there any bombers, for the off-premise retailers, on the truck?

I spoke with a distributor yesterday and was told this run was 100% kegs.

I felt same exact way about those two beers although I feel like I could drink a ton of Shaolin. Shaolin> 2x4

Cans aren't making it here until March. Might see bombers at the end of the month.

We're going to be well stocked with Melvin in Colorado from now on, or at least the brewery hopes we are (supply and demand be like the stock market). Even though only a handful of bars had the official 2x4 Day events many other bars along the front range also received kegs. I mean it was a shit ton of Melvin kegs that CSA received...

Backcountry will have Melvin on tap at their anniversary party tomorrow and Powder Keg has it on right meow. Boulder is metro-Denver, right??

Anyway you can toss some coffee ruckus in a barrel? Loved that beer on my visit.

I only had 4 oz's of Sholin, but I almost think I liked it better than 2x4, both world class IMO. Happy to have bottles and kegs around, looks like the distro is hitting Boise very hard. I didn't see a need to create an Idaho - Melvin thread so throwing this here :-).

I had the 2x4 and Melvin IPA at Falling Rock, great beers. I think I actually liked the IPA more than the 2x4. Definitely buying any cans or bottles I see.

Good to know. I love the distro in Colorado seeing as I'm there every few months. I just need to move back!

Going to Backcountry today for their anniversary celebration and it looks like they will be re-tapping Melvin IPA, Hubert, 2x4 and Purple Drank?

Has anyone seen a tap list for the Backcountry anniversary party? I thought I saw it but don't know where ...
