Witch's Hat St. Patrick's Day Party and Bottle Release

    Details fom their Facebook event:

    2016 St. Patricks Day Party & Bottle Release

    Details:
    1) Noon to midnight (we will open up at 11am for Mug Club Members for bottle release and early access to the party – open to everybody at noon)

    2) Bottle release will be MUG CLUB ONLY all day, no exceptions. If there are any bottles remaining, they will be sold the following day and will be open to everybody.

    3) Cover charge for the party will be a minimum of $2 cash donation – All gate donations will go to St. Jude Childrens Hospital

    4) Party will be inside and outside. We will have special drafts both inside and outside.
    Live music all day from the Whiskey Charmers, & Robert Rolfe Fedderson inside only.
    Outside we will have multiple bonfire pits, Lindsay’s Hometown BBQ and will be CASH ONLY (credit cards will be accepted inside only).
    Remember, we live in the best State in the nation, so dress for the weather!

    5) All parking will be located off site. Please use public lots across the street at the Witch’s Hat Depot, the public lot just west of the depot and along Dorothy Street. There are also public lots closer to downtown along Pontiac trail that are just a 5 minute walk. Please DO NOT PARK in Alexander’s lot next door or in the church lots across the streets. Your car may be towed if you do.

    6) 21 and up only – NO EXCEPTIONS

    7) No dogs allowed

    8) Cash only outside

    9) We will be filling growlers of regular menu beers, no special release drafts. Growlers will be available inside only

    10) you are more than welcome to bring your own chairs for the event

    11)Bottles released will be: (mug club only)(Limits soon to come)

    22oz BB Night Fury w/ Vanilla Beans- Our Night Fury imperial stout aged on Madagascar vanilla beans in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels.

    22oz BB Chocolate Espresso Night Fury - Our Night fury imperial stout aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels with direct trade cocoa nibs from our friends at Mindo Chocolate Makers and direct trade Black Cat Espresso beans from intelligentsia.

    22oz BB Cherry Cordial Night Fury - Aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels, this varient brings flavors of ripe cherries, sweet milk chocolate, molasses, brown sugar, hefty bourbon and oak. A truly unique beer and dessert all in one glass!

    22oz BB DragonTrax - Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury Imperial stout aged on Vanilla beans, Mindo cocoa nibs, coconut and peanut butter.

    12) Over a Dozen Special Release Stouts: (open to everybody, mug club or not – on tap until they are gone)

    Also, heard a rumor that most of you will love...WOTS is that Dragontrax is supposed to be much more like B1 than the previous batch...Meaning a peanut butter bomb...

    Ok, I may have jumped the gun. They let you day of last release, but of course no guarantee on this one or any future.

    Yep, it's on a Thursday. Vacation day for me.

    Trax is typically on tap at the Michigan beer fests. Spend $40 and try 20 other beers is a way better deal. It's good but definitely not $50 good.

    The $50 is for folks who are there all the time, and in that case this brewery is definitely worth it.

    Yeah I don't think it's worth it. I just happen to be in Northville that day, 20 minute drive to WH so I was entertaining the thought of going.

    Just a little over 2 weeks out and Im pumped!!! Dragontrax is what it was before! A peanut butter bomb! With some nice chocolate in it....Cherry Cordial is awesome!!! And I personally love the booze bomb and more vanilla in Vanilla bean...Cant wait!

    Any idea what the bottle counts/limits/prices might look like? Might be a little early, but I did see something last week that suggested that the Chocolate Espresso NF had already been bottled.

    I'm going to be out of town for work on St. Patty's day. :slight_frown: I noticed on FB that they said if they have any bottles left they will sell them on Friday. Think I have a chance at getting any on Friday? Or am I SOL?

    Probably depends a lot of quantity and bottle limits, which have not been announced yet from what I have seen. Last Night Fury release they sold out of bottles late in the afternoon. So while there was no real reason to lineup early, bottles did not last into the next day.

    But who knows, could be different this time around.

    So, I believe it will be 10 total bottles of the 4 variants that will be on sale...You will get to choose what variant you want 3 bottles of...3 is max of any variant...If im not mistaken, I also believe the price will be 15. per bottle of everything, except Dragontrax which will be 20 (i think)

    Also, just to point out..Last release there were well over 250 in line and the bottles lasted till almost 5....So no need to line up at 6am
