I have two simple questions for anyone living within the five boroughs of New York City:

Has anyone seen C.R.E.A.M. being sold for retail or have you've been privy to any kind information of distributors sitting on it and not selling it?

Reading both of your messages, I get hints of a conspiracy or feud at play. Is that the case?

Yeah living in NY I still can't believe there is no word on this. Can six point please contact the distributors and ask them the status? We're all waiting....impatiently now..

This happens with a lot of beers that Union and Manhattan distribute since they are so large and have so much inventory to manage. First in last out. It's actually much worse in Northern Pennsylvania in terms of products reaching the shelves long after launch, so I can't complain much about it here in NY.

When Four Beans first launched I couldn't find it anywhere in the city. Then 6 months later there were cases of it in my local supermarket.

I would have to blame the distributor in this instance.

Bleh, I've only felt burned each time I've bought a sixpoint beer. So much better beer to be had locally.

Haven't seen this in the city either, but I also haven't been looking for it at all. Only so many times I'll try these beers and be disappointed before I just give up.

Obviously thru a different distributor than you would have in the city, but we've had plenty of C.R.E.A.M. upstate (specifically Syracuse) for about a month now.

Thanks all for the feedback. I'm at a point where I've given up on this beer and I'm on the brink of giving up on Sixpoint as well. I've been a huge fan of theirs for years and credit them for getting me into craft beer but like someone mentioned, there's much more local options here in NYC to be had; especially in 2016 than there was back in 2011 when I had my first Sixpoint. The more time that passes where I see this beer being enjoyed everywhere except in the city where the brewery prides itself in being from the more I realize it's times to move on.

I got it NJ a week or two ago. It might have come and gone in that store.

Agreed with all. If six point actually cared about the city they "brew" in, they would ensure it was here by now. Just trying to mass produce at this point, and not actually care about where it winds up. About to give up on six point myself as well. I'll focus all my efforts on other half, finback, singlecut and grimm now. Grimm is a gypsy brewer, and even their stuff winds up mostly in the city they're "from", and that they actually care about.

I'm not trying to offend you, but you're being very dramatic. It seems like it would be odd for you to "give up" on them since you appear to be incredibly passionate about them around here. I guess it's just passion redirected and it makes sense in a dramatic way. Maybe just buy what you like from the stores (Sixpoint or whatever) and worry about it all a little less. I'm not mocking you - just trying to help.

    Edit: Ditto for @Daveshek28

I agree that I probably come off very dramatic. This experience has just left a bad taste in my mouth. Am I saying I'm going to boycott Sixpoint and launch a campaign against them? Absolutely not! Resin and The Crisp are two of my favorite beers. It's really more that the sense of pride and enthusiasm I once felt towards them is kind of gone. And yes, my excitement for C.R.E.A.M. has dwindled and I'm no longer preoccupied with it. I just wanted to acknowledge everyone for providing some feedback on here.

You could always @Sixpoint and ask. The owner seems to be very active on this site and always happy to answer questions and very open to feedback. I cannot speak for Sixpoint specifically, but it seems NYC almost always gets new releases in general at least a week or 2 before we see them Syracuse. Are you sure it didn't already come and go?

The OP and Sixpoint have already been in conversation regarding this in another thread.
