Highland Park Brewery thread

Went smoothly, can't wait for the release.

 

Got 4 bottles. Makes up for when I missed it last time

 

Congrats to HPB, 1450 bottles in a few minutes.

 

Got mine, its going to be tough to land future batches of this. Glad that they are getting recognized more.

 

Batch 1 roughly same amount of bottles, available to go from HPB for 2 months with a limit 6. This time with limit 4... 30 minutes.

 

I won this lottery!

 

Excited to have Lazy Susan bottles again. First one I ever had was first introduction to HPB. Opened one (got 2) at a share, smelled like a compost heap....tasted so damn delicious.

 

That Cat Delivery is some amazing stuff. Should be showing up in a couple of tap handles around town. Keep your eyes open for it and just drink it, cause, damn, it's tasty.

 

I hope it's still there Friday!

 

Bob has a new workforce of cat SLAVES! The brewery business is tough!

 

I was wondering how some beers get that cat piss smell...

 

yeah, essentially the email chain subject line about Hops and Barley was titled "Cat Delivery". As in the cats in the delivery area. Ross' reaction was that it would make a great name for a beer.

Now I'm just giving away too many secrets - just drink the beer, it's tasty and sneaks up on you at 9.5%

 

perhaps he's experimenting with his own Highland Park style kopi luwak coffee beans

I know he's big on using local ingredients to lend a certain 'terroir' to his beers a la yard beer

 

Yum. T. gondii beer.

 

Regarding growler fills, I know it's been mentioned they'll fill anything...would they fill my Libertine hydroflask? (if I cover the Wild Registry logo)

 

Does Cat's delivery have simcoe in it? Since some say it taste like cat pee!
