We're definitely doing a next round, but I'm going to step aside from running it this time. This isn't just a repetitive BIF where it's "my" thing; nothing wrong with those, but this is more than that. This group has obviously taken on a life of its own beyond the original, or even subsequent "rounds", and like the other two ongoing groups, I don't think it should have a single "leader" in charge of what happens or when. I'll certainly be sticking around to play and will happily run future rounds. I am also more than happy to help any way I can, whether that's just providing an address for a ninja (though I plan to make a spreadsheet eventually), providing feedback on a box, or helping qualify and mentor new members. Don't think I'm going anywhere, this is not a goodbye, I'm just stepping aside from being "in charge". To that point, @Yourahoser is going to take the reigns for the upcoming round we've been looking forward to. I've offered to consult with him as needed, and I think everyone would agree that he's going to do a great job. Cheers folks! -Kevin
I just want to thank Kevin @LehighAce06 for running the first two rounds and creating a BIF that has introduced myself and numerous other folks to BIFs. Personally, I find that BIFs are more fun that trying to work things out in the viper pit and have a much community-esque feel to them. Thanks again, Kevin. Hopefully, I can half as good a job as you. On another note, I'd like to open up the sign-ups for Round 3. Please BM me your info along with untppd profile. Style preferences/Shirt size/No Shipping Dates/Whatever else you feel is necessary. I will respond with some more specifics To make this a simple BIF for myself and whomever else decides to join in for the 1st time. Let's make this a simple, Send Some Good Beer round with a minimum of 144 oz. Encourage your BA friends to join, remember this was partially started to introduce people to the BA world. When's the sign-up and shipping windows open/close? I won't be in for this round but I may have some fresh meat for you.
In the same boat. I may join depending on the windows. I have way too much beer so may sit it out, but I have some friends who I might try to get in on this one.
