Stacks on stacks was a little lackluster for me. Still dig G is for Green more, it's not you its me was insanely good. Stacks is a little maltier then I would like made it not as easy to drink as 2nd

Yes, Monarch does carry OH. They get kegs on a regular basis and they get cans when they don't sell out at the brewery. They do this the right way, not like East Park who has mules wait in line for cans.

Oh. For some reason I was under the impression they were canning this.

Line form yet? I plan on going between 1 -2. Hopefully it's not for nothing

Im not in line because of the cold today but its pretty nice of Other Half to open an hour early for the people that are in line. Good on them.

They opened early, so hopefully minimal lines today.

Good for them. Kinda surprised they don't do that more often since the lines have been nuts, but I guess you have to have to keep to some form of hours.

So you're saying the right way is to skip the line of the mules whom wait around for hours and obtain beers for your business to resell elsewhere while the people who have been on line aren't now guaranteed beers due to the person taking cases for their business? Come on. And just to be sure, last time I spoke to someone at OH, they don't allow anyone to buy unless you're on line.

So is anyone actually there to say what the line is like? I'm guessing it's not as bad as the past three releases based on the relative lack of untappd bottle share checkins.

What's the growler pricing on stacks on stacks? Sounds tasty.

Also monitoring. Looks like maybe they opened the doors early because of the cold? Still sticking to my afternoon swoop plan.

They opened early because of the cold and are letting people get extras of whatever they want. Awesome move on their part. No line when I just left there. Tried a Stacks on Stacks while I was there. Really delicious & a very nice way to start my morning. Very similar to 2nd Anniversary, just slightly less dank. Really solid though.

It was about $15 with the tax for a 32oz fill for me at the Chelsea Milk & Hops.

    Wut? :astonished:

Monarch doesn't skip any lines, they only receive cans AFTER there's leftover from a release day. Such as today, if Equinox doesn't move, it may show up at Monarch next week.

That's a really good description of Stacks on Stacks. They were real similar. I loved both, but the (slight) nod goes to 2nd Anniversary.

Late edit: besides AGE, these are my two favorite OH IPAs. I do like them all, but these past two have been real impressive.

You beat me to it. Derrick from Monarch goes to the brewery and picks it up himself not during taproom hours.
