    Happy Valentine's Day!
It was -12 when I got up this morning, with a wind chill 0f -32. It hasn't been that cold here in a long, long time.
    Sharing this with my wife.

I also came across this the other day. Anyone ever seen one of these out in the wild?

Good morning BA, have a great Sunday!

This is such an awesome IPA. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, lime, melon, green pepper, citrus rind, and pine hops; with some light honey/bready malt balance and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness; with a nice dry and sticky/resinous finish with a touch of malt creaminess in the mouthfeel. I love this stuff, it really showcases a lot of nice characteristics of Equinox hops in the flavor profile along with the citrus/rind/piney notes of the other C hops that are there. Need to go buy another 6 pack now.

Excellent stuff again this year. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, and pine hops; with moderate chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted dark bread, caramel malt; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/citrus rind and roast bitterness; with a sticky/resinous finish with balancing creaminess in the mouthfeel. Will definitely be grabbing more singles of this; even well after 4 months since bottling, this is still really aggressively hoppy.

10 months since bottling, tasting amazing! Huge flavors of caramel, honey, brown sugar, toffee, butterscotch, vanilla, golden raisin, apricot, apple, bourbon, and toasted oak. Moderate balancing bourbon/oak spice and herbal bitterness against the sweetness; with a great balance of fruitiness, malt, and bourbon barrel complexity. Smooth and creamy/silky with light slickness and stickiness in the mouthfeel. Very smooth with minimal ABV warmth. Glad I still have some more left, it is getting better than already was initially.

Just grabbed another single last week, will definitely do it again. Huge flavors of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, molasses, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, light licorice/raisin, and light smoke/char. Balanced bittersweet roast/char finish with some spicy bourbon/oak against sweetness; light-medium carbonation and full bodied creamy/silky rich mouthfeel. Very smooth sipping with lightly warming alcohol. Incredible!

    Cheers!

Still in my top 5 albums of the year.

This is probably my favorite Fleshgod Apocalypse LP now, it has a great mix of their new and original sound.

drinking this now. this year's choice in coffee selection definitely puts an interesting twist on it. having ground and brewed multiple cups of the specific bean, nothing about the flavors & taste i'm getting from this particular bottle seems suspect at all. batch #... lol. just kidding. bottled "2118", 17/SEP/15

Good morning BAs! The sun just burned its way through the cloud cover and is mightily reflecting off the snow-covered everything. Breakfast beer:

Good morning BAs. I hope today finds you all drunk on love AND possibly beer. It was a early morning for us here in Beijing. We decided to start Valentine's Day off with a hike to Shixiaguan Geat Wall. This section has a bit of history, built in the 14th century it was partially destroyed by rebels fighting Ming Dynasty soldiers. They defeated the solders at Shixiaguan and made their march to Beijing effectively ending the Ming Dynasty in 1644. It was spectacular!

Late this afternoon we hit up Great Leap Brewing #45 in Chaoyang District, Beijing for some beers. No.6 pale ale, Dan Cong dark ale brewed with oolong tea and the Edmond Blackhouse Pilsner were the beers I had today. I've tried almost all of them in the 2 weeks we have been here. Cheers!

Awesome trip! My girlfriend and I were in China a few months ago and went to Great Leap. Sweet place! We also visited Slow Boat Brewing in Bejing and Boxing Cat in Shanghai. Enjoy the rest of your time there! Cheers

Hoppy. Not as hoppy as I feared it might be though. Very tasty. Especially looking out the window at the 5 degree frozen tundra.
