Morning, BA's (hmmm, not sure about "what bet are you drinking now"?)

Welcome to another edition of Booknotes and Beers (and thanks as always to @LeperJim !!)

This time of year, when I cannot get outside as often as I would like, I tend to pull out a bunch of "coffee table" nature / photo books in my collection for inspiration and beauty.....I used to go every year to our local Sierra Club chapter's spring lecture events - we would get some great speakers of national renown. People like Galen Rowell, Robert Glenn Ketchum, Ian Adams to name a few.....got to meet these folks and often get them to sign their amazing books!

So, here's to great books full of inspiring shots of nature, great prose and amazing beers!

See those footprints across the snow. That's how I had to get back down after taking the trash out because the stairs are covered with ice. Going up no problem, coming down - big problem. Cheers you all!

Book later. Only reading I did so far was beer labels.

Glad to see this band get some love at the Grammys.

 

Last day in Beijing, flying out tomorrow so we decided to hit up one more joint. NBeerPub in Sanlitun. Cool little joint. The beer was so so but I'm thinking it had a little more to do with the tap lines than the beer itself. American IPA and Coffee Stout pictured.
