    Morning everyone, rounding almost to 6:00 a.m here on the east coast, I turn 24 today so I figured good reason as any for a beer this early!

    Thought if I put this beer outside, it would make all the snow in the immediate area melt.
    Then I found out the screen door is frozen shut.

    I'm on such a James kick right now. Up there with Nada Surf for the early 90's alt band with one hit song who are still around and have a seriously deep great catalogue of work.

    Something left over from Valentines Day, The Park Brewery's (Kingston-upon-Thames, London) Spankers IPA (apparently named after a local park...). A decent attempt at a US-style IPA, with lots of resinous hops and a big malty backbone. Though it seems a bit stale, the hops being quite half-hearted in nature.

    Big Hug The Bears Hibernation White IPA (Kent, England) - is much fresher. A hybrid weizen and IPA it brings the best of both worlds, big fresh hops alongside that softer yet full fruit and body, and yeasty kick of a weizen. Lovely stuff. Plus they work with a charity that helps plant/save trees or something, which is cool.

    Nib Smuggler from Funky Buddha. Smooth, milk chocolate. Not too heavy. Remember reminded me of a milk shake in a good way!
