Pretty sure I had some flights last year, but I don't remember them being advertised like they are now. And I do agree the flights are allowing the kegs to stay on a little longer

My wife and I shared a couple flights last night, and everything was still on. My ranking of Trois Vies is #2, #3, #4, #1. Of the others, my ranking is:
    1. ET Wee - fantastic burnt caramel bomb
    2. Manhattan - as good as previous iterations
    3. Cuvee - a nice change of pace from all the other offerings
    4. Foolish Envy - much like last year, great

    All were really fantastic.

What?! We didn't rank the Trois series exactly the same? Well, this is is an outrage. Good day, sir.

I've been waiting a long time for someone to call me 'Sir' without adding 'You're making a scene.'

Just a friendly reminder, you can now pick up your growlers on Sunday as well. Confirmed straight from the source.

Oh Doctor, I pronounce it to be the most whimsical jape of the season!

Head to Steel Toe for some Before The Dawn and Barrel-Aged Dissent (this can be had at The Republic near TH).

Is Project 3106 back to the quality of 2 years ago?

Its better than last year, but still not as good as the first year. I don't know if a beer will ever be as good as that first year...

Of the ones I tried I would rank them:
    1. Trois Vie #1
    2. Buffalo Bock
    3. Foolish Angel
    4. ET Wee
    5. Trois Vie #2
    6. Trois Vie #3

But after the first flight my palate was mostly wrecked.

It's tough to drink town hall beers back to back, the base beers get dominated by the barrels and in turn they all kind of run together in terms of barrel flavors.
That said my top 3 is: foolish, buffalo bock, et wee
Bottom 3: Manhattan (tastes like a cider this year), maple brownstone, 3106 (better than last year, but barely)
Trois vie are middle of the road

    Anyone try Maple Brownstone yet?

I enjoyed the Manhatten. Wasn't as sweet as previous years. Really enjoyed Foolish, but BA Quads make me losses in the goosed. Will be going by tonight with the wife to try/pickup the rest.

Thanks for the Manhattan pour oh, 7 hours ago? Haha.

Over at Town Hall right now hitting the rest up. ET Wee might be my favorite so far, followed by the #2 Trois Vie, then a toss up on #3/3106/Manhattan. Of course, Twisted will be the final glass (and probably my favorite). ET Wee though, solid.

Coolest thing about this year's barrel aged week: everything lasted ALL WEEK.

My favorites of the ones I tried*:
    1. E.T. Wee
    2. TV3
    3. Twisted Trace

Honorable mention to Buffalo Bock and TV2

*My palate was biased toward boozy beers this week :stuck_out_tongue:
