I believe it was 7.99 for Furious, 11.99/12.99 for Abrasive, and 7.99/8.99 for Overrated. They also had Blakkr but I didn't check dates or prices on that.

How was it 6 months old when the first canning this round was 10/20?.... math is hard.

Zipps had 6 or 7 singles, but they were 6 bucks a pop...

I'll be on the hunt for Itasca if anyone has any leads...gonna call f44 but won't be free until 4 or so. Also, how's the January abrasive stock at costco SLP looking?

I would estimate 3ish cases of Abrasive in the cooler when I was there yesterday.

G-Will in Lino Lakes just had the CS Itasca Loonidragon 2016 walk in the door. Ask for it, limit of 1 per customer.

It's called "IPA Weeks". 1 calendar week = 1.5 IPA weeks.

It's so weird what beers end up being chased after. I enjoyed Loonidragon, but man, seems a bit odd that there is this much chatter on it.

Honestly like half the reason I lust after CS bomber releases is the artwork. I'm so down with paying 12 bucks for a solid stout, then adding it to my collection of awesome artwork. But apparently these days anything with the words "barrel-aged" "limited" or "stout" means you have to work hard to get even a slightly above average beer.

It's limited, BA and only released in one state bro, therefore it's a wale bro.

Apparently the landscape has changed as I don't recall CS Loonidragon being chase worthy. I guess tastes do vary.

It seems there are many truck chasers and BA bottle hunt chasers that are new to the craft beer craze in the past 1-2 years spending lots of $ to get as many bottles of perceived rare beer (especially BA stouts) as possible.

I'd like to see a test sometime of several posters talking up an upcoming poor/average limited release on BA and see if that beer gets chased and sells out quickly strictly due to the (fake) hype.

This one is selling for $75-$100 on various advertisement sites, and is super rare and limited, easily a top 5 BA stout this year. Must. Will. Chase. On.

Has anyone seen any fresh, canned Golden Nugget? I've only ever had old bottles, and am curious what a fresh one would taste like.

I'm not sure what the freshest batch is, but Surdyk's had a bunch of 1/15 cans earlier this week (along with 1/29 Sue).

Yep. I tried Ride the Wendigo or whatever and the other one at the time that was being chased after a couple months ago. Not for me.
