I remember walking in to D&Q after Abyss was released and it stayed on the shelf for a couple of weeks if not longer, we can only be so lucky now.

I saw it sit at Spec's Clear Lake for over 6 months.. We are talking about at least 4 to 5 cases. I haven't been in awhile so it still may be on the shelves..

Maybe now but I haven't been in D&Q anytime around its release. I also don't go looking for it.

    I'm seeing another approval 2/8/16:
BRASSERIE CANTILLON BRUOCSELLA 1900 GRAND CRU

Please tell me this is correct!

I know it doesn't mean they'll start popping up on shelves around the state, but it's still nice seeing that.

So Cantillon has another label approved, and these bottles will hopefully start showing up soon, but I'm curious if anyone (maybe @aschwab ) has an idea of what we should expect the retail price to be (if we're lucky enough to find them)?

This is what I expect to happen.

It will show up at places like JK for events. They will likely be ticket only events where they "may" be able to purchase them.

From there, I expect it to go to festivals and beer dinners.

After a bit longer, limited amounts will start making it to limited distro to very specific shops.

I would not hold your breathe on getting to take it home for at least 6-12 months.

I would also wait for JK to announce their event before we even have a real idea on these things. But, I do think it's safe to say the first wave of it will not be hitting bottle shops and we don't need to worry about retail prices.

I could be wrong, but just my take on things.

The second bottle was Kriek 100% Lambic, just FYI for both bottles and kegs.

Prices will probably be any where from $20-50, depending on beer, bottle size and retail location. The most I've paid was $45 at novre res for mamouche

I expect the few bottle shops that do receive it to gouge, $40 for a 750 of standard geuze.
