With the ever increasing number of breweries, it seems only natural that it would continually get more difficult for breweries to stand out among the crowd. Besides making a great product I feel like a brewery's theme is almost as, if not more important in getting people's attention. I was just curious to see the favorite brewery themes of other BA's out there, so if you had to pick one what would it be?

My personal favorite at the moment would be Revolution Brewing out of Chicago, the right mix of a little humor and creativity seems to help their beer stand out.

Country Boy in Lexington. They have a good thing going, and the name appeals to a lot of locals. They make some awesome beer to boot, especially their barrel-aged stuff.

My favorite is Ska Brewing in Durango. Making all of us punks happy.

Comrade Brewing certainly has an interesting theme. I actually really wish they made a tacker of their logo so I could buy one.

I like the satirical patronizing messages from Arrogant Bastard, the drink it in a can theme from Alchemist, the irreverent titles of Evil Twin, and the weed themes of Otter Creek and Lagunitas.

This is a good question, I think. I'm thinking of my favorite craft breweries and other than the label artwork, I can't really come up with any "themes" any of them have. But, it does remind me of a video review I saw recently where the brew had an "occult" inspired label. Totally tongue in cheek, I'm sure. But the reviewer had kind of a laugh to himself, saying, "Oh, look, these guys are trying to be edgy. No. Putting a pentagram on your beer isn't edgy, guys.... if you really want to be edgy put a rebel flag on the can." I think Lucky Bucket out of Nebraska has a cool theme or at least logo. Very classy, and classic/retro look.

I really like Ballast Points fish thing and the skeletons.

Old Dominion in DE has an old school pinup military style theme on their labels.

The Dudes in Torrance. It's themed after the Big Lebowski.

We need more german style breweries in the US. Places like Live Oak in Austin (which I've never been to :slight_frown: )

In USA, Ballast Point. Love their labels and names with fishes and fishing.

Outside the States, my favorite is Cantillon. Always fun new crafty challenges with perfect groundworks. Even their labels - especially Fou - are pieces of attwork.

I don't know, Hoof Hearted has a totally off color name that really hit home and is quite memorable and obviously is working to gain them popularity, so I am gonna suggest some names for new breweries to get that same reaction.

    I Hate You Brewing
    GFY and Die Brewpub
We Piss In The Fermenters Beer Company
    Brewmaster Has TB Brewing, Inc.
    Clueless Brewery and Pub

Another vote for Omnipollo, absolutely love their bottle art. Simplistic but almost elegant I must say.

But do they have a pub or tasting room to carry that theme? That would be great - Grandpa's Hooters - "Pinups & Pilsners"
