this isn't about beer per say,

yesterday (2/19) I made a run from Pittsburgh after work down there an back, left downtown at 4:30, got there at 8:40, left there at 9ish, got home at 12:45am (this after getting up at 6:00am friday morning)

I know not to try that again solo on a workday, I don't remember most of the drive home (and I didn't even have a drink there..)

anyways, the bartender that's a little gray in the hair, taller, and a little older than the other 2 that were there helped me a LOT. I was a zombie by the time I got there, and he worked very hard to figure out what I thought I wanted beer wise

I honestly don't remember most of what we said, but let me absolutely say I will make it up to him next time I'm there. Please relay this to him.

(I've been there enough times in the past 2 months he remembered me.. so I've no idea what the impression is that I left lol)

Good people you have working there, all of them.

How about a subsidiary tap room up North?

 

Working on the north thing it might be a few years, but we are on it.

Never even considered this but holy shit that would be awesome.

 

I think Columbus is in their more immediate plans but we can dream.

 

Waiting impatiently for the next weekend release. Should be getting close.

 

I really hope its a couple weeks yet.. too many 7 hour round trips recently..

 

Brad is obviously the guy to ask, but I feel like I remember some of the bartenders say that the calendar release parties may be done, and that they would still be doing special taplists for weekends and releasing 375s/500s at the taproom.

 

I thought the release at the brewery worked well the last time. Allowed folks to get their beers and head uptown.

 

Next big release won't be till July. We need to open the public house, work out kinks, and get past the initial busy period. Thanks for your patience.

 

Already planning a trip to Athens in July for Ohio Beer Week. It's a great event and a wonderful time of year to be in town.

 

I have one ive been holding onto for a special occasion, will probably take a finger or two to pry it from mine but I thought id see your offer.

 

Think you may have just missed this one by a day or so.
