I would assume Spec's would and maybe an HEB or two.

 

I would try non-De Zavala Spec's, Alon Market HEB, and Bandera/1604 HEB. Can't guarantee success, but those are probably your best options.

Also, Big Hops Huebner will be tapping a keg of it this Thursday alongside regular BBH and Kentucky Habit.

 

Try calling 12 different Specs, Total Wine, and HEB stores along with a few places off Twitter and none left in SA looks like. One place still had Trigave though?

Honestly, both infected beers I had/heard about were both milk stouts. One had a white residue on the bottom of the bottle.

 

that is yeast sediment and is normal

It was the only one that had the sediment. As for my Limo Tint, I was told that it may have been out of date or stored improperly. That was from my beer rep.

 

Picked one up at a local Krogers today. Surprised me. This particular store doesn't usually have a very big craft selection, much less something like this.

 

For those on the SE Houston side, HEB on Fairmont has about 8 bottles on the shelf as of 1700 today.

 

The Kroger I got mine at had a lot. I didn't count how many though. Kingwood, in case there are any BA's from there or near there. The smaller one in the back of Kingwood.

 

I was really let down by this one. Didn't really get any chocolate at all.

 

I'm still seeing it at most HEBs.

 

I got chocolate up front, but the finish was just bad alcohol. The chocolate was not very strong, but it was there for me. All 3 versions I've had have tasted good up front and then fall apart really badly in the finish. I've really never had any BA stouts do this, but the three Hellfighters have been consistent.

 

Right on. I saw a few last night at my local as well. I just meant that the supply is thinning out. I tried to get it for my store but it was practically scarce. I have 'plenty' of BBH Chocolate but it's usually the other way around.

 

I had it on draft the other night. I said the same about the lack of chocolate. It tasted as good as regular BBH but a little hot on the back. It may be because it's young? My buddy said he tasted milk chocolate on the finish. I told him he was full of it though
