Andy if you push that sour release to between the 19-29 of October, I might have to hunt you down and torture you

Any chance these will be a Sunday release like Oud Floris?

Looks like the torturing is unlikely. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.

Assuming that Rumpkin clears all tests and Odio Equum's scheduling doesn't change, it looks like we're trying to get these out as soon as possible. We'll do the ol' release parties here. Rumpkin is planned for Saturday, Sept 29 and Odio Equum is planned for Sunday, Oct. 7. At this point, we would like to move all of these releases to Sundays, but it's just not feasible this time around for various boring reasons.

Of course, both dates have the potential to change, but barring catastrophes those dates should work. Definitely keep a lookout on Facebook and our email list, as things can always change.

I believe that we are still rolling with our same setup... a one day sale in the Tap Room, then start shipping the rest out to Colorado and potentially other places depending on final yield. So I don't think that the GABF rush will affect things either way. Both beers should be in the 400-case range, depending on possible kegging, loss, etc.

I think a far more important question is when we'll see more Meph Addict/Tweak

I hope I can get my hands on a few. Not greedy, just a few for my belly and a tasting.......

Couldn't disagree more! While I like Tweak, there's other note worthy barrel aged coffee stouts out there. There is no other note worthy BA pumpkin ale in my opinion and certainly none up to Rumpkin levels.

I guess I'll be the dissenter who didn't like Rumpkin as much. To me it was way too rummy and finishing my two servings (I gave it a second try later) took forever. While there might not be many other spirits barrel aged pumpkin beers, I'd rather have Pumking, either version of the Great Pumpkin, Fat Jack, or the somewhat comparable Oaked Jacked Imperial Pumpkin. For that matter, just give me a normal 'ol 5-6% pumpkin ale that hasn't been spiced to hell and I'll take that.

Moving releases to Sunday blows in my humble opinion. Fridays were the best and Saturdays somewhat doable. Sundays I'll be shutout completely unless I can get a friend to be said mule since I work every Sunday. Even another weekday would be better than Sundays. Just my 15 cents worth.............

Release is tomorrow! According to facebook, this is what else they'll have on tap:

"Ross’s Mom, Uncle Jacob’s Stout, Double Dry-Hopped duganA, Whiskey Barrel-Aged Samael’s, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tweak, Überschwein, and the new and extremely rare Rumpelstoutskin!"

Needless to say, I'm incredibly excited.

I want to go just for some Uncle Jacobs Stout on tap....I also want to go just so I get to finally try some famous Tweak, let alone barrel aged Tweak...

I would be incredibly excited too if only I didn't live so far away. Given that I don't have a designated driver there is no way I am making this drive, trying those beers, and then driving home. Not at those abvs.

Oh well, such is life. Hope all you that do attend have fun.

Would anyone want to grab and extra four bottles  ? I had planned on going but some stuff with work just came up today so I'm going to be working during the release. I can meet up and pay you up-front for your troubles.
