    Good morning BAs! One day closer to the weekend.
    The plan was to have this beer yesterday and today, and to take a picture of it outside to show how much the big snowstorm dumped on us in 24 hours.

    Our former grad student brought me a 64oz growler of 'King Cake Stout' 9.5% that he got at the brewery (Fairhope Brewing, Fairhope, AL) yesterday:

    It tastes like chocolate and the icing from a King Cake. Dry, powdery cocoa tongue coating. Looks and drinks more like a porter. Not bad. Wonder what I'll be doing today...

    That is one of the coolest labels ever. How is it drinking? When the Thursday night bottle share host offered me a choice from his Jackie O's collection last week, I went with the BA Dark Apparition over that one because Apparition was already warmer.

    Morning, beer peeps

    This beer seems appropriate, at least for the forecasted 1-3" we are supposed to get today - it is above freezing and supposed to be in the 40's - 50's and sunny Sat-Sunday, so I am ok with it!

    Love Child No. 6 from the Boulevard Smokestack Series. I honestly hated sours at first, but now I'm really beginning to enjoy them.

    My guess is that you will be sleeping if you drink a whole growler of 9.5 ABV beer. I think for the benefit of science you should proceed with the experiment.

    Good morning BA's! I'm starting off my morning getting things done around the house. I figure I'd get them done now so I have nothing to worry about when I leave for Tired Hands later today. Speaking of which, I believe this beer is appropriate for such an occasion...

    Mosaic Fort Point was amazing. It's really hard to describe this beer other than screaming obscenities and just making weird sounds with your mouth (which is kind of what we did). Anyway, my nightcap...

    Zombie Dust was one of the first beers I traded for on this site. It still holds on to being one of my favorite beers of all time. Got this as an extra in my porch bomb yesterday, and I squealed like a little girl. I couldn't pass up drinking it. Cheers, and have a wonderful Thursday everyone!
