Brewdog just released homebrew recipes for all of their beers, I think past and present. Very cool. Wish more folks would consider doing it.

Posted on their website at https://www.brewdog.com/diydog

A Scottish brewer using smoked malt in a Scotch Ale? Hmmm...

They use a lot of dry hops. 7-10oz in their hop bombs.

They share all of their recipes including: TNP, STB and EOTW. You need to freeze the beer to -70c to make them all though

Checked their recipes out and was surprised to see they mostly use dry and american ale yeast.

yeah this is awesome! I love that they not only shared EVERY SINGLE RECIPE, but they have plenty of process notes, etc. Many breweries who will share recipes do not have this much detail. I haven't tried a ton of Brewdog beers, but I may try something similar to one of the recipes if I find something I really like. We don't get a ton of their stuff around CO.

Wow, this is awesome. I feel like the brewdog guys get a bad rep for their show being kinda corny, but this just kicks ass. Cheers Brewdog

I like the show, it is corny, but that's based on the Producer and Director moreso than the Brew Dogs themselves.

I always like when breweries are transparent like this, especially for people who don't get their stuff regularly.

They used to use Holt's yeast by way of Thornbridge , don't know if they still do.

Lots of good ones on there, but I'm confused by 'The End of History'. It's a 55% abv strong ale, but the recipe only gets you a 16.5 abv beer... not that I would ever try to brew this ridiculous beer, but is this beer further condensed through freezing?

There is an upstart here in Pittsburgh that's still trying to get their legs under them called Abjuration Brewing but they have full detailed recipes online as well for all of their beers. They are a group of computer programmers so they believe in open-source.

This is spectacular! Really impressive and generous of them to share their entire catalog with the community. Kudos I say, kudos!

Now I just have to read through all these and decide which ones I want to try brewing ... What kind of equipment could even get down to -70C? Do I just have to pick up some liquid nitrogen? That's not happening, but still 212 other recipes to consider.

That's correct. They use fractional freezing to get the ABV up. Same with Tactical Nuclear Penguin.

It's funny, because Madtree was the first brewery I came across that shared their recipes to the world. I live about 10 min away from the brewery, so I'm a semi-regular there. Thought it was pretty cool when I saw on their website the recipes for their staple brews.
