    Wait was too long today!

Citra is awesome though! Had to open a can because of a leak. Lost about 25% into my cooler. Not sure if it was a top seal issue or hole in can, but I heard a hiss.

Having a Make it Rain now and it is very solid as well.

I was surprised to see In Absentia, so picked it up.

A successful trip but one I won't make anytime soon. Way too long of a wait for me. I could visit Carton or Kane or Rushing Duck in less time, round trip. Are OH's beer worth it? Absolutely. But I just can't stand in a 3 HR line for them. I've been there 5-6 times last year and was never around the corner. There was still a line around the corner when I left at 12:15.

If you don't have much else planned for your early afternoon, I really don't mind the wait. Always awesome people in line to talk beer with. Typically I'll bring a beer or two to enjoy. I find it a very nice way to spend you Saturday morning as long as the weather is nice.

I want to apologize to the guy who I told earlier in the week that showing up at 11am today would be fine.

I looked out of the F train as I approached the station at 9:30 and my jaw dropped when I saw the line. Sam was cool assured a full allotment of IPAs which was nice but three hours is a long time to wait for 32 pints. YOLO.

    This has become ridiculous.

Anybody got a tip on the next up and coming brewery so I can wait in line now?

^^^ the hype train keeps on rolling...
...so how are the cans tasting? I really enjoyed the last batch of citra, so I've got high hopes.

The Citra is tasting great. Moderate haze. Super dry. Pretty sure it will be even better in the next 2 weeks.

The good ole days are gone. Best bet is to go on a weeknight or a non-release day.

The release days have turned into one big block party with people drinking in the streets at 6:30 in the morning.

Nice knowing you OH, but I'm not waiting in ridiculous lines when Sand City is crushing it.

I went to the previous release and it was fine. Nothing new + extreme cold weather = my kind of release, I guess.

I'll never understand why people feel the need to drink at 8am. And bring proper glassware to drink in line. And leave their trash behind for others to pick up.

I think we all can agree that those guys that show up at 6am with a box full of whales and are completely shit faced by the time the line starts moving are the absolute worst. No one is impressed guys. No one.

Hit the tap room around 7 tonight...grabbed a growler of Make it Rain and a few pours. Finally got to try Diamond Mausoleum which is great as well as Mosaic is President (kick ass) and Citra (this may be the best batch yet).
It does suck that they have so much hype and can releases have turned into shit shows but it's good to know that I can still pass by and sample some beers and grab growlers to go without waiting on a huge line. Those were my only options back when I first started trekking down to Bklyn summer '14 to hit the tap room so it doesn't bother me too much now when I get there and cans have already sold out.

I'm usually there around 6-630 after work for any release and rarely drink in line. Today I had a beer with two people that I usually meet up with but that was it. Drinking in the front of the line was pretty tame today. Occasionally people probably drink more than they should but I'm pretty sure that's not exclusive to the people up front. As for people not throwing their stuff away I don't get. It's a pretty simple task.

Sand City is making strong moves. I know BoardwalkLager will talk shit because I'm not from his tiny slice (therefor shouldn't be able to drink his beers) yeah you've actually said moronic shit like that , but they have made great strides. Aslin beer co is doing great things too (VA).

The line today was particularly stagnant. What is with the fully grown men with kids and families not understanding that they can't get these beers? Yeah, you got shit to do. I have nothing to do, but stand in line for beer. I'd rather have kids and a Mazda Hatchback but I got a couple grams, my crib and some Citra. So sorry you need to be somewhere but I don't give a shit, so stop bitching.
